The passing Period is 5 minutes between classes. TARDIES will be counted and there are consequences for continuous TARDIES. Per State law if a student is tardy to a class more than 5 minutes they are counted absent for that period.

Mr. Tom Carnes
As a member of the Madison Maverick CTE Team, I am committed to preparing students for adult life by providing a program of study in Law Enforcement and Public safety that aligns our teaching to industry needs, prepares our students to answer the call of the demands of our community’s economy and workforce through academic achievement and intellectual development.
Who Am I?
I am a father of four sons, a husband, and a veteran of the United States Army. This is my eigth year at Madison. I retired from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office after 17 years of service as a Deputy Sheriff, I also retired from the military as a Captain in the United States Army Military Police. I am a Life Member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The United States Army Military Police Regimental Association, and a Charter Member of the 1814 Society of the United States Army Museum. I look forward to working with you as a member of the Maverick Family Team. I enjoy the outdoors, reading, writing, and playing the occasional video game.
