Mr. Rafael Salinas

Hello everyone, I am Mr. Salinas and I will be teaching U.S. History, U.S. Government, and African-American Studies for the 2024-2025 school year here at Madison. I am very excited about beginning this school year and look forward to meeting all of you in-person. This will be my 7th year teaching here at Madison High School and my 13th year teaching overall.

A little about me, I was born in San Diego, CA., grew up in Oceanside, CA. and have lived here in San Antonio since 1982. I enjoy watching PBS, listening to music (on vinyl of course, I'm old school like that!), trying different types of cuisine around town, and spending every minute I can with my two incredibly awesome grandson's.
