I am born and raised San Antonian. I have always loved sports and started playing at a young age. Keeping that love alive, I began to follow all kinds of sports and quickly became the athletic encyclopedia among my family and friends.

After graduating from Ronald Reagan High School I made my journey to Lubbock, Texas where I attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. While at Tech, I participated heavily in intramurals and was involved with First Baptist Church and Kappa Chi Fraternity.  In addition to my extra-curricular activities, I worked for the local NBC affiliate, KCBD NewsChannel 11, as a Sports Intern.  Upon graduating, I began to work full-time for KCBD, starting as a News Photojournalist and eventually found my place in the sports office as a Sports Reporter / Photographer.  In 2010, I was promoted to the position of Weekend Sports Anchor where I shot, edited, produced and anchored the 6 & 10 pm sportscasts every Saturday and Sunday.

In 2012, I decided that it was finally time to head back to my roots and accepted a position with News 4 WOAI in San Antonio, Texas.  After a year at WOAI, I was able to move back into sports by joining GameDay Productions, where I produced a weekly high school sports show called Sports Stars of Tomorrow, which featured San Antonio area teams and student athletes.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michelle, who is a Marketing Teacher at Reagan. We have two amazing kids, McKinley, and Lawson.  We also have a dog named Paisley.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, gaming, and training for triathlons.  I am officially a Half Ironman finisher and pursuing the title of Ironman.
