Hello Madison Family! 

My name is Dana Melton and I am the Director of the Dollies Varsity Dance Team and the Fillies Junior Varsity Drill Team. I also teach the fine arts dance class. I am a product of NEISD as I graduated from MacArthur HS where I was on the dance team for three years. I then went on to major in dance education at Texas State University. During my time in college, I also taught dance studio and was the competition team choreographer. After graduation, I was the Head Spirit Director at Burbank HS in SAISD for five years. During that time I achieved my Master's in Educational Leadership from UTSA. I also judge various dance team competitions. I enjoy teaching dance, helping students find their passion, building lifelong learners, and creating well-rounded individiuals. I am excited to keep growing on the traditions and the successes of Madison HS. I am excited to be at Madison for a 2nd year going into my 7th year of teaching. Let's go Mavs!
