Amanda Way
Greetings Fellow Mavericks! My name is Amanda Way and I am excited to be starting my second year at my Alma Mater! I have 6 years of experience teaching Family and Consumer Sciences classes including Culinary Arts, Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness, and Hospitality. I have a true passion for teaching students to cook! Afterall, everyone needs to eat! And, I want my students to be independent and cook for themselves as well as their families. It is my hope that students will see the potential of expanding that culinary knowledge into a career. Who knows? Maybe Madison will produce the next Iron Chef!
When I am not teaching/cooking, I enjoy spending time with my family! I have been married for 24 years to my wonderful husband and have two children both of whom graduated from Madison. I love completing puzzles, reading, and grave hunting! I am a member of the Red Hat Society, a group of ladies who enjoy fellowship and friendship!
I am looking forward to getting to know each and eveyone of my students and their families. Once a Maverick, Always a Maverick!
