I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was able to travel the world as a young adult. My family settled in San Antonio in 1994 and I have lived here ever since. I graduated from James Madison High School in 2004 and then went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
This is my 8th year as an educator and I have had the pleasure of dabbling my feet in several different areas. Before teaching science, I was a special education year. I started off in special education by teaching ALE for 2 years, and then I moved to Co-teaching Biology. Now I am starting my 3rd year as a general education Biology teacher.
When not on campus or at school events, I enjoy spending time with my husband, puppies, family and friends. I am also very much into fitness. I enjoy doing Crossfit and running in multiple races.
