Linzey Bowers

Hello Mavericks! I am Coach Bowers and this is my 8th year of teaching and coaching and my 2nd in NEISD. I spent the first 5 years of my career at Holden High School in Louisiana, where I taught a variety of subjects: Health, PE, Health Occupations and Emergency Medical Responder. I was also the head softball coach and my team won 4 straight softball championship titles! In 2022, my family and I moved to New Braunfels and I began teaching Special Education. Currently, I am an Algebra I Co-Teacher and the softball and volleyball assistant coach at Madison. 

I was born and raised in Walker, Louisiana, a small town right outside of Baton Rouge. Upon graduation from Walker High School, I attended the University of Louisiana in Lafayette where I obtained my Bachelors Degree while playing softball for the Ragin' Cajuns!

My wife, Lana and I have been married for 6 years. We have been extremely blessed to adopt two amazing boys, Pierre who is 12 and Beckham who is 5.
