Share & Reflect - Native Texas
Students can share with one another using a structure such as:
- See Total Participation Techniques by Himmele & Himmele, p. 66-68/ p. 75-77 in the eBook version (see ASCD professional collection, login required)
- Note: Students should make appointments with a specified number of students who studied different tribes
- 1/2 of class sets up presentations while other 1/2 peruses the gallery
Students share with a buddy from another class/grade level.
This phase is intended to:
Allow students to share with an audience for an authentic purpose.
Student reflection should include:
- their own learning
- the inquiry process
- encourage further inquiry, when appropriate
