  • Students can share with one another using a structure such as:

    Appointment Agendas

    • See Total Participation Techniques by Himmele & Himmele, p. 66-68/ p. 75-77 in the eBook version (see ASCD professional collection, login required)
    • Note: Students should make appointments with a specified number of students who studied different tribes

    Gallery Walk

    • 1/2 of class sets up presentations while other 1/2 peruses the gallery
    • Switch

    Partner Share

             Students share with a buddy from another class/grade level.

    Allow students to share with an audience for an authentic purpose. 

    Student reflection should include:

    • their own learning
    • the inquiry process
    • encourage further inquiry, when appropriate
