AVID III is when we accelerate our work towards applying for college. We spend a lot of time preparing for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. We narrow down our college and major choices and begin to think of which 3-4 would be the best options. We write the first drafts of the college essays so they can be ready for senior year. We prepare as much as possible this year so applications in the fall of senior year can be as easy as possible.
