Mr. Stephen L. Gibbs
This is my 32nd year as a teacher in NEISD. I began my career at Churchill HS in 1991 where I taught World History, U.S. History, Honors U.S. History, AP U.S. History, and U.S. Military History. In 1998, I was chosen as the first Social Studies department chair for Ronald Reagan HS which opened for business in August of 1999. Since opening Reagan I have taught US History, AP U.S. History, Sociology, AP U.S. Government and Politics, and U.S. Military History. As of 2002, I have served as the Instructional Dean for Social Studies, a position combining the duties of a department chair along with those of an instructional coach.
