Mrs. Nicole Velebil

Coach Nicole Velebil is entering her twenty-third year of teaching. Teaching has always been a passion of hers, even when she was forcing her younger brother to sit through her “classes” when they were young kids. She can not remember a time when she did not want to be a teacher.

Coach Velebil has been married for seven years and is a mother to a rambunctious five year old. If you ask her, she will tell you she has four children, one human and three dogs. Coach Velebil’s favorite pastime is family time at home or the family outings to the Zoo.

Coach Velebil graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1996. She then attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Later, Coach Velebil continued her education at Lamar University where she earned a Masters of Education in Administration of Educational Technology.

Coach Velebil is very excited about the new school year! This will be a year like no other, but with a little teamwork, and a lot of patience, she believes it will be a great one.
