OPEN HOUSE SLIDES 2022-23 (Sept 20, 2022)  

I am so excited to be here this year, and to work with all of my wonderful Jags, teaching and facilitating growth in this school year and beyond!  My goals in teaching are to help students discover and grow their talents as they gain proficiency in the Spanish language.   

In addition to teaching Spanish classes at Johnson, I tutor in the evenings, participate in curriculum writing and development with my colleagues from across the district and beyond, and spend time with loved ones. In the summer months, when I am not involved in curriculum development, I enjoy traveling to expand my mind and my perspectives of the world; I have traveled abroad extensively throughout my adult life and hope to bring inspiration and appreciation for the great diversity of our amazing world to my students as well, as they learn to communicate in Spanish and navigate within a construct of cultures beyond their own.
