I am originally from Fargo, North Dakota, and graduated with a Social Studies degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead (GO DRAGONS!) in 2003. I have called San Antonio home for the past eighteen years, and don't ever expect to move back to the "frozen tundra" of North Dakota. This is my 18th year at MacArthur, 16th year teaching AP World History, and 6th year teaching AP European History.  I am the proud mother of a 15 year old boy, Jackson, his 13 year old little sister Madeline, and Dog Mom to our rescue Lab/Great Dane Mix, Maggie. Away from school my interests include DIY - especially refurnishing furniture and paper crafting, football Sundays, reading and spending time with my family.
