I grew up travelling with the Army. I've lived in Colorado, North Carolina, Wichita Falls in Texas, and finally San Antonio where I attended High School and have lived since then. Upon graduating, I attended UTSA and earned by Bachelor's in English with Honors and a concentration in Creative Writing. From there, I went on to attend Texas State University and earned my Master's in Secondary Education with a minor in Literature.  

This will be my eighth year teaching at MacArthur High School and I am so excited to continue to be here! I love learning and I am excited to share my passion for reading and writing with my students this year as I get to know each and every one of them.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing piano and video games, and creative storytelling with my friends.
