Mrs. Erin Saenz

Hello! My name is Mrs. Erin Burleson-Saenz (Mrs. Saenz for short). I am the Marketing teacher at MacArthur High School. In my classes we explore what marketing is and how it applies to different careers industries such as fashion, sports & entertainment, and advertising to name a few. My ultimate goal is to teach our next generation employability skills, the importance of your personal brand, and the dying art of business etiquette. 

I proudly boast over 15 years of professional business and marketing experience in both for and non-profit environments. I have a double major bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing and an alternative teaching certification specializing in Marketing. 

Last year was my first year in education and at MacArthur High School. We had an amazing year both in and out of the classroom. As the DECA sponsor, we took over half our team to compete at the state level and as the NAWBO sponsor, 10 outstanding young women were given an opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds our city has to offer. I have no doubts the 23-24 school year will prove to be even more successful than last year!
