Alaina Rodriguez
This 2024-2025 school year is my 3rd year coaching and teaching and my 1st year at MacArthur High School as a freshman basketball coach, volleyball coach and English 3 teacher.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and played for Judson High School (6A) as well as Marion High School (3A). I played a variety of sports, including powerlifting, volleyball, basketball and track. After graduating from high school, I played club volleyball at Texas State University. I played volleyball there for 2 years while earning my bachelor's degree in English.
Throughout my high school and college career, my father taught and coached at MacArthur HS as a football and basketball coach for 6 years. I loved coming to football games and working at the basketball games. My family and I are very familiar with the MacArthur traditions and have a lot of Brahma Pride! 💙
Before coming to MacArthur, I spent my first year teaching and coaching volleyball, basketball and track at Nimitz Middle School and then a year coaching basketball and softball at LEE High School.
I am excited to be home at MacArthur High School. It's going to be a great year and I'm excited to be a Brahma!
💙🏐🏀
