I'm a proud Utah State University graduate with a BS in Mathematics Education and a minor in Physical Education.  I enjoyed teaching at West Side High School in Dayton, ID for 5.5 years.  While at West Side, I had the opportunity to teach Geometry, Algebra II, Concurrent Enrollment PreCalculus, AP Calculus AB, GT Geometry, and Coached 8th grade volleyball, 9th grade girls basketball, and the UIL academic team.

My time at West Side High also brought a lot of personal changes in my life including marriage and the birth of my first child.  Life is all about change and my husband's work brought us to San Antonio, Texas.  At the time of our move, I made the decision to stay home with my family.  I now have five beautiful children!  When my youngest began Kindergarten, I felt the time was right for me to once again pursue my love of teaching.

I feel truly blessed to have joined the Madison family in January of 2018.  The students, faculty, administration, and community make me proud to be a MAV and I look forward to continuing my professional experience here. 

When not at school, you may find me running my five children around to their various activities, enjoying my love of outdoors by camping, swimming, or hiking, reading a good book, cooking, or working out.
