I grew up in Laredo, Texas and moved to San Antonio to attend the University of the Incarnate Word. I proudly became a first-generation college graduate when I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts. After 13 years in the Marketing/Advertising field, I decided I wanted to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a teacher. I have over two decades of teaching experience, having taught in Southside ISD for one year, SAISD for 11 years where I earned a Master’s in Educational Administration. I moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and taught in Irving ISD for three years before moving back "HOME" to San Antonio.

My husband and I have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, four precious grandchildren, three rescue dogs and two cats.   

I’m excited about beginning my sixth year at MacArthur and my first year at MacUnited Early College High School, where I look forward to being a San Antonio College Adjunct Instructor and creating positive relationships with my students and their parents. Go Brahmas! WE ARE MAC
