My name is Alanna Kennison and I have been teaching at James Madison High School since 2016. Both of my parents were in the Army so I traveled to places like Washington, Germany, Oklahoma and then finally Texas where we stayed until graduation. After high school, I was in the Navy for 2 years where I met my husband. While in the Navy, I lived in Illinois, Mississippi, and Virginia. After I got out, we moved to Idaho and then Utah where we lived until 2014  when we moved to San Antonio, Texas. I have a daughter who was in the Army for 8 years until June of 2023. My son graduated from Madison in 2019 and graduated from Texas A&M may of this year. I am looking forward to another amazing year at James Madison Social Studies discovering US History with your students.
