Monica Gibbons

Hello! 

 I have been part of the NEISD family for 15 years. I have my masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy Focus from the University of Texas at Arlington.  I am also a mother of 3 wonderful kids who have all graduated from the Design and Technology  Academy at Roosevelt High School. Most of my career has been at the secondary level, but I moved to the elementary level to be the Newcomer Instructional Coach, so I may share my knowledge and expertise with teachers to teach newcomer students who have just recently transitioned to the United States.
