As a dedicated father of four daughters and an avid world traveler who has explored nine countries, I bring a wealth of life experience and cultural perspective to my teaching. My classical training in the atelier process, also known as the sight size method, has grounded me in the traditional principles of fine art, which I have had the privilege of studying both in the United States and abroad.

With over a decade of experience in public education since 2009, plus teaching at Amarillo College, I have honed my ability to guide students through their artistic journeys. In 2017, I returned to my hometown of San Antonio, where I now work alongside what I believe to be the best art team and administration in the district. Together, we are committed to pushing your skills beyond your expectations and preparing you for the next level on whatever path you choose.
