Hello! Before becoming a teacher, I spent 15 wonderful, awesome, and exciting years as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force. My family and I lived in many different states, such as Florida, Illinois, North Dakota, and Colorado. We also lived in Germany during my military career. After 15 years, I decided that it was more important to spend time with my family. I love teaching just as much as I loved being in the military. Because of my experience in the military and choosing to become a teacher, I consider myself a lifelong learner.
I have a loving husband, Adam, and three beautiful children: Celeste (23), Alexis (22), and Quinton (20). We also consider ourselves animal lovers and have two dogs we brought into our home from different shelters. Athena and Milo are part of our family too.
As the ACHIEVE Credit Recovery teacher, I hope that my students are able to receive the credits needed to graduate and go out into the world and become the adults they want to be.
