Ms. Roxanne Villarreal

Hello!  I am excited about teaching Dual Credit and On Ramps this year!   This is my 26th year of teaching in public education and fifth year of working for Alamo Colleges District.  I've been fortunate to serve in various educational capacities over the years.  This includes working as a classroom teacher, data coach, grant lead, and reading intervention coordinator.  Overall, I would say I am an educator who focuses on teaching students how to set and achieve their goals.  In my current position, I am looking forward to teaching students how to think critically and understand how rhetoric can shape their perspective of the world.  My hope is that my students become informed, compassionate individuals who can positively contribute to the world.
