Mr. Luis Lucio

My name is Coach Lucio. I am a 2022 graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies. This is my first year here at Jackson Middle School where I serve as a 7th grade Math Acceleration teacher and a coach for 7th grade football, 8th grade basketball, and track. 

Growing up I played all sports, but baseball will always be my passion. After high school, I enlisted in the United States Army as an EOD Technician where I served for almost 10 years. I left the military in 2016 and I began studying for my degree in 2017 at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I moved to San Antonio, Texas in July of 2018. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, coaching sports, and spending time with my family.
