My name is Mr. Adam Alviar.  I was born in McAllen, Texas.  I grew up in a miltary family and I lived many years in Heidelberg, Germany.  I then came back to Texas in the early 90's.  I went Douglas MacArthur High School and graduated in 1993. 

This is a second career for me as I have recenty left the Golf Industry.  I currently teach the Academic Applied Skills class for the Special Education Department and this is my 6th year at JMHS.

I am the Head Golf Coach for the Boys/Girls Varsty and for the Junior Varsity teams.  Go MAVS!!!  

I have been married to my beautiful, high school sweetheart for 25 years.  We have three wonderful children, 5 dogs, and 3 cats.  We love our San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and we love to fish!!!!
