Hello Mavericks!

Ms. Michelle Menchaca is the cheer director as well as a Science and CTE instructor.Her journey began at Antonian College Prep, where she excelled academically and discovered her passion for both English and Biology. She went on to pursue her education at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in both subjects. During her time at UTSA, her love for dance and performance led her to join the renowned San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers. As a member of the squad, she had the opportunity to showcase her talent and dedication during two championship seasons. She has coached various cheer and dance teams in San Antonio leading to nationally ranked teams. Her classroom goal focuses on teamwork and building a strong work ethic in her students to flourish and achieve great success. Ms. Menchaca is excited to start her 16th year of teaching and 8rd year as a Maverick!
