Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Mack Witzel

My name is Mack Witzel, and I am a new member of the AMP team here at Madison High School. I grew up on a family farm in Burlington, CO and was highly involved in 4-H and FFA throughout my life, showing cattle, hogs and lambs, competing in livestock judging and public speaking, and eventually serving as the Colorado FFA State President. I then attended Kansas State University where I got my degree in Agricultural Education.

After college, I taught Agriculture in Oklahoma and Kansas for a couple years before taking a break from teaching and working for the Kansas Department of Agriculture. I moved to San Antonio a couple years ago and the desire to get back in the classroom has led me here. This will be my third year teaching Agriculture in the classroom, but first year here at Madison. I’m excited to work with all of you and share my love for Agriculture.
