This is my 13th year at Tejeda Middle as the theatre teacher and director.  I graduated from UT Austin with a BFA in Theatre Studies, and right now I'm in school for my Masters in Communication at Arizona State University (online).  I've been teaching Theatre for 15 years now and am certified to teach theatre EC-12.  I love creating art collaboratively with my students!  I also have a huge musical background (I was in the 2006 TMEA All-State Choir) and love musicals.  I grew up doing community theatre, and then intensive theatrical work in high school and college.  I love directing creatively and planning productions/contests. I contest manage UIL One-Act Play for our district high schools.

I enjoy kickboxing, Peloton spin classes, and have a huge passion for healthy living and mental/emotional health.  I have three cats and 1 dog, and I play on a recreational kickball team! My husband is an elementary PE Coach in NEISD as well.  Go Public and Go NEISD!
