Mrs. Margaret Kaysa

I have been teaching in NEISD since 1993. After many years of teaching 4th grade, I joined the Harris Middle School staff in 2012, teaching 6th grade reading. In 2019, I was blessed to be able to join the Tejeda family for 6th grade reading and English, and I am SO happy to be a Timberwolf!! Just last year, I made the switch from ELAR to Theatre Arts and couldn't be happier!  This is my 29th year of teaching, and I am looking forward to many more years of teaching. I am a graduate of Northeast Independent School District and attended Woodstsone Elementary School, Wood Middle School, and Madison High School.  I received my bachelor's degree in education from Texas Lutheran College in Seguin.

My wonderful family consists of my husband, Rich, and our two children, Bailey and Garrett.  Both of my children attended Tejeda Middle School and graduated from Johnson High School in 2020 and 2023, respectively.  My hobbies include musical theatre, singing, guitar, boating, and attending my kids' sports and other extracurricular activities.
