Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelors of Music in All Levels Music Education from Texas Lutheran University

Mr. Edgar Meza

Hello! This will be my first year of teaching music. I am a recent graduate of Texas Lutheran University where I received a degree in Bachelor's of Music in All Levels Music Education. During college, I had the privilege of performing with various groups, such as the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Mariachi, Brass Quintet, and Trumpet Ensemble.

My passion for music began in middle school and it was my middle school director who inspired me to pursue a career in music education. I am beyond excited to be teaching at the level where my musical passion sparked and hope to pass on the same joy and experience to students!

When not teaching music, I spend time either watching sports or walking my dog.

I cannot wait to begin teaching at Tejeda and look forward to creating many musical memories this coming year!
