I am thrilled to join Tejeda Middle School as your new Academic Dean! I hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). My journey in education began as a paraprofessional at Bush Middle School in the ALE classroom and evolved into roles such as ALE teacher, ELAR Resource teacher (grades 6-8), ELAR Co-teacher (grades 7-8), History Co-teacher (grades 7-8), and ARD Administrative Designee. I also had the honor of being named Trinity Prize Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year and served as Bush's master mentor.
Outside of work, I am proud to support my amazing daughter Ava, a senior at Reagan High School and a dedicated member of the marching band. I am genuinely excited about this new chapter at Tejeda and already feel welcomed into the T-Wolf family. I look forward to collaborating with our committed staff and wonderful students to continue building a positive and enriching learning environment. Please feel free to reach out or visit our campus - I’d love to connect with you!

This will be my 10th year working for NEISD, for the last nine years I taught 6th grade ELAR, and was an ELAR Department Chair. I’m a graduate of UTSA and Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) I’m also a product of NEISD! I attended Stone Oak Elementary, Bush Middle School, and graduated from Reagan High School. Mrs. Kiera Craft
Hello T-Wolves,
I am Kiera Craft, your Special Education Coordinator. I am excited to be part of the wolf pack and appreciate the Tejeda PACK mentality. I am a Washington coast native and enjoy all things outdoors. I completed by bachelor and master's program through the University of Texas at San Antonio. This will be my 9th year in education, with all of those being in some sort of special education role (contained behavior, resource, co-teach, campus redirect). Prior to education, I worked aircrew life support in the United States Air Force.
Most Importantly, I am the proud mother of 3 wonderful children. I have two daughters (13 & 15) and 1 son (17). We're a sport fanatic family and spend most weekends on the pitch or under the lights.
I look forward to working alongside each of you this school year. Don't hesitate to reach out. Office (210) 356-5624
