Family Support Services provides assistance through education and support to NEISD school-age parents, and children and youth in homeless situations. Last year, the NEISD McKinney-Vento Project identified and provided services for over 970 students. 51.3% of NEISD students are classified as economically disadvantaged (33,316 students).
