Mr. Ambriz-White

Hello! My name is Alexander Ambriz-White (Coach White for short), and I am very excited to be part of the Timberwolves family! I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I moved to San Antonio in 2015, where I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio. I graduated in 2017 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. In 2019 I returned to UTSA as a graduate student to pursue a degree in Counseling with a focus on Clinical and Mental Health. Before teaching at Tejeda, I worked with the district as an AVID tutor and KIN Site Supervisor for 5 years. 

This will be my fourth year at Tejeda. This year I will be coaching volleyball, basketball, and track. Moreover, I will be responsible for two class periods of AIM (Academic and Individual Motivation). I will also be teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA. Lastly, I am also teaching yearbook/journalism. 

I have a passion for teaching and coaching and hope to have an impact on all my students and have a positive influence in their lives. Our classroom goal is to create an environment that nurtures growth in a positive, fun environment. 

During my off time, I love to play sports such as basketball, football, and beach volleyball.  

Tutoring times are Mondays and Tuesdays 7:50-8:15 AM, and I am available by email from 7:45 to 4:15 P.M. M-F and by appointment. I look forward to a great school year
