Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies Certifications: Early Childhood through 6th Grade Generalist

Jaclyn Jordan

Welcome Timberwolves!

I am Coach Jordan, and I look forward to being your 6th-grade math teacher or coach this year! This will be my 2nd year teaching and coaching at Tejeda, but I am well versed in what it means to be a T-Wolf! I am a product of NEISD and the Johnson cluster more specifically. I attended Tejeda, graduated from Johnson, and then went on to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. (Go, Runners!) I love being able to call myself a T-Wolf once again.

This year I will be teaching 6th-grade level and honors math, coaching 7th-grade B-Team Volleyball, and 7th and 8th grade Tennis!

My philosophy of education revolves around the idea that students have an inherent brilliance as they walk through my doors. My job as their teacher or coach is to harvest that brilliance and help them to reach their full potentials. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe in my classroom and have the opportunity every single day to explore and challenge themselves, ultimately becoming something greater than they could have imagined.
