Jaclyn Jordan

Welcome Timberwolves!

My name is Jaclyn Jordan and I look forward to teaching 6th Grade World Cultures this coming school year. This will be my first year teaching at Tejeda, but not my first year as a Timberwolf. I grew up in the NEISD community, attended Tejeda, graduated from Johnson, and then went on to atain my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. (Go Runners!) This year I could not be more excited to call myself a Tejeda Timberwolf again. I will be teaching 6th grade Social Studies and will coach 7th Grade Girls’  "Go Team" Volleyball along with 7th and 8th Grade Girls Track.

My philosophy of education revolves around the idea that students have an inherant briliance as they walk through my doors. My job as their teacher is to harvest that brilliance and help my students to reach their full potentials. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe in my classroom and have the opportunity every single day to explore and challenge themselves, ultimately becoming something greater than they imagined.
