Coach Jordan

Welcome Timberwolves!

I am excited about going into year 4 of teaching and coaching here at Tejeda Middle School! Although it is only my 4th year here at Tejeda, I am well versed in what it means to be a T-Wolf! I am a proud product of NEISD, and the Johnson cluster more specifically. I attended Harmony Hills/Wetmore Elementary, Bradley/Tejeda Middle School, and graduated from Johnson High School! I grew up in this community and am very thankful that I have the opportunity to pour back into it, and to call myself a T-Wolf once again!!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. (Go, Runners!)

This year I will be teaching 6th-grade Social Studies, coaching 7th-grade "GO" volleyball, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls tennis, directing the 6th-8th grade Tejeda Colorguard Club, and will be the sponsor of the Tejeda Fellowship of Christian Athletes!

My philosophy of education revolves around the idea that students have an inherent brilliance as they walk through my doors. My job as their teacher or coach is to harvest that brilliance and help them to reach their full potential. I want my students to feel comfortable and safe in my classroom and have the opportunity every single day to explore and challenge themselves, ultimately becoming great humans.
