Welcome to Tejeda Middle School! I teach Debate I/II/III. I am also the PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership and Service) teacher. This is my fifth year at Tejeda, as I returned to the classroom after taking time off to raise my kids and be an active volunteer in our district and community.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in English (WHOOP!). I also earned my Master of Secondary Education from University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 2002. I have taught 9-12th English/Pre-AP English and 7th & 8th GT in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Alma ISD, and Pulaski County Special School District. My husband and I have two children who attended Tejeda and Johnson High School. Go JAGS and TIMBERWOLVES! Our son is a senior at Texas Tech and our daughter is a sophomore at the University of Texas. Go RED RAIDERS and LONGHORNS!
