Hello!

My name is Alexis Lara and I am currently an ALE teacher here at Tejeda Middle School. This is my 2nd year of teaching. Before Tejeda, I worked at Garner Middle School as an ALE paraprofessional. I absolutely loved my time there and am excited to be here at Tejeda. 

I am originally from Chicago. My mom and I moved to San Antonio when I was in 4th grade, where I went to Encino Park. I then went to Tejeda Middle School and graduated from Johnson High School. I then went to UTSA and earned my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies there.
