This is my 12th year at Tejeda Middle as the theatre teacher and director.  I graduated from UT Austin with a BFA in Theatre Studies, and right now I'm in school for my Masters in Communication at Arizona State University (online).  I've been teaching Theatre for 14 years now.  I love creating art collaboratively with my students!  I also have a huge musical background (I was in the 2006 TMEA All-State Choir) and love musicals.  I grew up doing community theatre, and then intensive theatrical work in high school and college.  I love directing creatively and planning productions/contests. I contest manage UIL One-Act Play for our district high schools.

I enjoy kickboxing, Peloton spin classes, and have a huge passion for healthy living and mental/emotional health.  I have three cats and 1 dog, and I play on a recreational kickball team! My husband is an elementary PE Coach in NEISD as well.  Go Public and Go NEISD!
