I attended and graduated from SouthWest Texas State University (Texas State). While at SWT I danced as a Strutter and served as an officer for 3 years.  I was very involved with Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Sigma Tau Gamma Little Sister, and Order of Omega Greek Honor Society.  The Educational Degrees that I earned were in Political Science, Dance Education, and Physical Education.

This is the 33rd year of my teaching career and all 33 years have been here at Roosevelt High School.  I am the dance teacher and coach the Patriots Varsity Dance Team, Teddy's Girls Elite Dance Line, Dazzlers JV Dance Team, and Cavalier Pep Squad.  I truly enjoy working with the TR community and am energized daily by the excitement and work ethic of the kids I get to teach.  It is my passion to get to witness the growth of my students from the first time that they walk into the studio door until they walk on the stage to graduate. 

I have been married for 26 years to my husband, a football coach.  We have three amazing kids that are either teachers or studying to be a teacher.
