Major Jamelle Garner

Greetings,

I am Major (retired) Jamelle Garner, the Senior Army Instructor for the awesome cadets at Theodore Roosevelt High School. I am a 20-year, active-duty retired Army Veteran. I initially served as an Enlisted Soldier, as a broadcast and print journalist for my first 5-year enlistment. After my first tour I took a break from service and worked both at the State Department and with the D.C. Child and Family Services Agency as a Public Affairs Officer. Greatly missing everything good about the military, I returned and went to Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning in Georgia.

The rest as they say is history, 2 deployments, marrying the man of my dreams, three sons, five pets, 4 degrees and 20-years later I have arrived at the best job of my life, coaching, teaching and mentoring young adults to fulfill their dreams!

I am the CyberPatriot, Marksmanship, Robotics (soon to be Archery) and JROTC Leadership and Academic teams coach.

I would love to talk to you about your student joining our program and can be reached at 210-356-2249 or jgarne@neisd.net
