Ms. Kaitlin Villanueva

Hello! I am Kaitlin Villanueva, an optimistic educator new to Roosevelt High School this year. Though this is my first year teaching at Roosevelt, I have 2 years of experience in the classroom as a substitute teacher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Communication Studies. I graduated from Texas State University, San Marcos, in August 2023.

My experience in teaching has shown me that every student is capable of excellence when given the right tools for success. I plan to equip my students with the necessary tools every day, so they can see their own potential. My goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.

I am happy to be returning as a Roosevelt High School Alum, class of 2018. Outside my classroom, I enjoy reading books, listening to Taylor Swift, and spending quality time with my 16-year-old dachshund. Ask me what I'm reading at the moment!

I am excited to begin this year at Roosevelt High School, where we will strive to learn something new every day. Rider pride is alive!
