Mrs. Oliva Gold

I'm Coach Gold, an educator dedicated to nurturing students academically and athletically. With a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an Integrated Science focus, I've blended my passion for teaching and sports since 2009. At Rudder Middle School, I taught 6th-grade math while coaching volleyball, basketball, and high jump. Transitioning to a Special Education Area Coordinator in 2014, I ensured inclusive support for all students. Joining NEISD in 2019 as the Special Education Campus Coordinator at Bush Middle School, I continued advocating for diverse learners. In 2023, I embraced a new role at Roosevelt, teaching and coaching soccer, melding my love for the sport with education. Committed to fostering academic, social, and athletic growth, I create supportive environments where students thrive. My journey in education has been immensely rewarding, and I eagerly anticipate continuing to positively impact students' lives and the educational community.
