Mr. Alejandro Rosas

  • Due to school closure, we will be moving to Distance Learning using Google Classroom. We will be able to provide assignments, feedback, and grades to students through this platform. Our online classrooms have their own unique code to join. Please have your student login into Google using their school accounts and join their appropriate period’s Google Classroom using the following codes:

    • 1st Period – peypbo2
    • 2nd Period – mdbkbh4
    • 3rd Period – qwyzcts
    • 5th Period – pvyxxxu
    • 6th Period – iytgq5i
    • 7th Period – rdvca24

Starting Monday, March 23rd, your student will need to log into Google Classroom weekly to complete each Art-1 assignment. There will be 1-2 assignments per week. Questions or concerns can be emailed to me at or students can comment directly on their Google assignment.

IF your student does not have access to technology (they can even access Google Classroom via XBOX/PlayStation, etc.), we will provide a packet each week. The packet will be available for pick up at TR each Monday from 10:00am to 2:00pm for the duration of our closure. The assignments will need to be completed that week and returned to school the following Monday.

Mr. Alejandro Rosas

My name is Alejandro Rosas, and I am on my seventh year teaching with NEISD.  I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX graduating from W.B. Ray.  I then went to College Station, TX attending Texas A&M graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors in Applied Mathematics.  Immediately following graduation, I attended The Art Institute of Houston where I achieved an Associates in Graphic Design.

I was a professional graphic designer for 8 years before I decided to teach in 2013.  Before becoming an Art teacher, I taught Geometry for six years.  I am an artist at heart, but I have an affinity with mathematics and how it applies to everyone and everything.  Math and Art are both very visual subjects, and I try and incorporate as much creativity as I can in my classes.

I look forward to the 2019-20 school year and the success that your scholar will achieve.  Your child will receive a curriculum of Art with an added bonus of math.
