Mrs. Margarita James

Hello Parents and Students,

My name is Margarita James, and I am a certified medical assistant with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. I've been teaching adult education and high school students since 2014. I have also worked as a medical assistant program director for a vocational college, where I met my best friend and husband. My family consists of two adult children, ages 26 and 18, 6 dogs, 1 cat, two bearded dragons, a Savannah Tortoise, and a fish tank. Yes I have my own zoo! Four of my six dogs are pugs, which are my babies!  Both my husband and son served in the military.  My husband is a retired  Army medic, who served for twenty-three years and now works as a high school teacher.  My son served in the United States Air Force for six years as a Warfare  technician.  He is a graduate of a NEISD high school, and is working in management for South West Research Institute, in the NASA department.  My daughter is beginning a new chapter of her life as a fulltime college student, pursuing a degree in Biochemistry at Incarnate Word University.  

I enjoy teaching and have passion for helping others succeed. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and dogs.  During the summer my husband and I embark on a cruise seeking new adventures!  I enjoy drinking coffee and Big Red, and love eating chocolate!
