Ms. Halle Penrod

Hi! My name is Halle Penrod and I teach On-level Biology here at Churchill. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, a border city to Matamoros, Mexico. I moved to San Antonio in 2017 to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then decided I wanted to pursue a career in teaching and went on to receive a Masters of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction. This school year will be my first year teaching, and I am excited to be at Churchill and be a part of the amazing Charger community! I am looking forward to sharing my love of science with my fellow scientists - my students. I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and exploring science in our everyday lives. When I am not in the classroom, you may find me attending sporting events, exploring the outdoors with friends, at a coffee shop, reading a book, at the beach, or at a dog park with my dog, Oakley.
