I was born in East Texas where most of my early educational training occurred. After graduating from high school I entered and graduated from Prairie View A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and minor in Family and Consumer Science
Shortly after graduating from college I married and traveled in Europe for two years, returned to the United States and settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was a stay-at-home mom with our daughter who finished from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a degree in Nursing.. Our daughter and her husband have blessed us with two beautiful grand-daughters.
During the time I was a stay-home mom I entered graduate School at University of Northern Colorado and received a Master's Degree in Home Economics Education. I taught over twentylyears in Colorado Springs, Colorado, moved to San Antonio and taught high school for five years, Middle School for ten years in San Antonio and this is my 1st year at Churchill high school).
My hobbies are: Flower gardening and home improvement.
