Welcome students and parents to 2022/2023 school year at Mac!  My name is Candice Floyd, and I will be your English I teacher this school year. This will be my seventeenth year teaching, and my sixth year teaching here at Mac. I moved here to San Antonio from Corpus Christi in the summer of 2017. I graduated with my B.A. in English in 2003 and my M.S. in Secondary Education in 2006 from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi.

I spend most of my spare time hanging out with my family, running and training for races, and loving on my dogs. I have one daughter that just recently graduated from UTSA, and a step-son that is about to begin his third year at Texas A&M. 

I am looking forward to meeting everyone this school year!
