I am a proud South Texas girl, raised in the small border town of Alto Bonito / La Grulla, Texas. I have a BA in Spanish from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. This is my 25th year as an educator. I love teaching and making sure students have the opportunity to experience culture and customs. Proficiency takes practice bute determination is key. Grammar and vocabulary will be important, but we will communicate in the target language and embrace its beauty.
I am a mother of 2 bright college girls. My oldest is in her 4th year at UT Dallas and my youngest is in her 2nd year at UT Arlington. They are both former soccer Chargers.
I enjoy spending time with my brothers and sister as well as my parents, nieces and nephews. I enjoy working out, jogging, nature strolls and spending time outdoors.
