Ms. Kathleen Battersby

Kathleen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After student teaching in the STEM program in Northeast ISD in San Antonio, she  taught 8th grade U.S. History in Corpus Christi, Texas at Tuloso-Midway ISD. She then spent 5 years at Nimitz as an 8^th grade U.S. History teacher, Mentor Teacher, and UIL Academics Co-Coordinator/Social Studies Coach. She is currently a Special Education Co-Teacher in U.S History, World History, and English II at her alma mater, Churchill High School. Katy also serves as the Secretary for The Aggie Educator Network.
