In past years the orchestra has won numerous Sweepstakes and Outstanding Performance awards at U.I.L. Concert and Sightreading. Every year the orchestra performs Tschaikowsky’s Peter and the Wolf for local elementary school students as well as special performances for Title One elementary schools in the Texas Hill Country.  In the spring of 2006 the Churchill Orchestra performed a concert titled “Remember the Hero’s” at the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Honolulu Hawaii.  In the spring of 2008 the Churchill Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City toured Austria twice, 2010 and 2018; and Italy in 2014.  Once again in 2020 the Churchill Orchestra will perform in Carnegie Hall!  The orchestra is very involved in the community and our school.  Behind the orchestra is a dedicated and hard working booster club that supports us in every way.
